Here's the template: Dear (Hiring Manager), Thank you so much for the opportunity and update regarding XYZ Position. While I am disappointed, I wanted to let you know I enjoyed meeting the team and learning about a career at ABC Company. The company's (mission/vision) truly aligns with my personal and professional goals and I will continue to keep an eye out for openings where I can make an impact. Are you able to provide feedback regarding the interview? I would love to know how I can make myself a stronger candidate for future opportunities. Please let me know what I can do to stay on your radar for future opportunities and if we can connect on LinkedIn. I look forward to connecting again soon!
