Now a days there are many candidates both freshers and experienced candidates on job search in UAE and the COVID-19 did influence this , due to downsizing and closure of many firms experienced candidates are also on search of jobs and their numbers have increased , but after the vaccination drives and starting of EXPO2020 companies are hiring candidates and they are fishing for the one's who they have to spend less CTC(Cost to Company) Even then both candidates and companies are suffering , here there's is demand and supply but due to both parties cannot come in to mutual agreeable terms positions are still open and we can expect the hiring to go up from November to February.
Here I am Trying to give some tips to job searchers who are in UAE and wants to come into UAE to search for a job ,now due the COVID19 related issue I also lost job and even before that I was on job search for more than 3 years passively and after losing job actively for some months . here I would like to share my tips based on my experience so people who ight find this useful may get a job and which in turn may get me the blessing of almighty Allah.
KEEP IN MIND THAT DO NOT PAY ANY ONE ANY MONEY FOR VISA PROCESSING AND JOB SEARCHING THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMMERS IN DUBAI AND SHARJAH BE CAREFULL ESPECIALLY NEAR TO JUBAI BUSTAND AREA - follow this link for a list of job scammers in UAE ===>>> UAE Scammers
First of all please ensure you do follow these tips .

1- As as possible get a UAE Mobile Number and put it on you Resume.
2- Use the same mobile in your resume as your WhatsApp number (This will help in sending the interview location by employer easily.)
3-Try to make your resume ATS( Applicant Tracking System ) Friendly . - For this avoid graphics and follow as much as consistent format throughout the resume.
4- Tailoring your resume to match the Job Ad or Requirement will also help - But keep a track of which one you send to which .
5- Name your resume file as follows - Your Name (If it is long then use a short one ) + The Job Title this will help in the HR to find your resume easily on a system vise search or for a recruiter on the net, and save it as pdf file .
For Example : Zuhair_Accountant.pdf
6- Update your Status regularly in your social media platforms to show that you are on job search and the job you are looking for and your contact details . May your social circle will notice this and they may lead you to a prospective job.
Also this will save you time on calling and reminding them and also they won't get annoyed by your calls.
5-Try to get bed space in Dubai especially areas near metro stations and bus stations , in city it may be costly but it can help you reach your interview locations faster and can use to take your mind off from negative thoughts when no calls are getting .
7- If you have a UAE Driving License, Emirates ID and Credit Card then Download and register in these car sharing apps . Just pay to use and Fuel and parking cost are on them.
a) UDrive - Use Referral Code " EEVqurQk " This will get both of us 20 Credit Points for Free .
b) ekar - Use Referral Code " REF-11T9-CN3N8 " - This will get both of us free driving credit.
This can help you to reach remote parts of UAE where public transport are not available and these app gives us freedom to choose Per-Minute, Per Day , Per Week and Per Month subscriptions each with different rates also you can get free credits in case you have to pay for fueling just mail the bill along with the car number and your details
8- Use Social Media platforms for job search they all have Job Groups - Search, Find and Request to be Added .
9- Use Google Itself t search and find jobs also put google alerts to the same automatically to get latest jobs posted to sent to your inbox.
10- Use Linkedin and Indeed for Job Search .
11 - Use the Scheduling option of Gmail to set the mail to go just after 30 to 45 minutes for the following day's office start time - use google to find the office opening time for this .
12 - Send a follow-up mail after two days if
a) There is no update on application
b) After attending the interview if they did not give a date or time to update you of the result , if they give a time then send a mail the next day reminding of the interview and something to show that you are interested in job.
13 - Send a Confirmation mail when a interview gets fixed and send a Thank You mail after the interview by the end of the day or the next day morning . It gives you a professional and responsible image and gives an overall good mental opinion.
